Automatic coffee makers

As always, if you love your home coffee, carry on! We always say drink what you like–as long as it’s Bearded Coffee (Kidding, sort of). But if you find yourself unhappy with your home brew despite filtered water and fresh locally roasted coffee delivered to your door, maybe it’s time to look at your coffee pot. Or maybe your cheap Hamilton Beach Coffee maker has kicked the bucket again and you are looking to invest in something that will last a little longer. Check out these videos from America’s Test Kitchen. Who doesn’t love a good ATK Equipment Review. #nerds

*Disclaimer-We do not use these any of these coffee makers in the videos. Maybe someday (sigh). We do have a Bunn Coffee maker that is a work horse. We bought it for about $100 and it has brewed thousands of cups of coffee. It always has a pot of hot water ready to go. It is super simple to operate. Uses gravity to move the water through. Big E has replaced a couple of parts through the years but it keeps on trucking. It’s two major strikes are: it has a glass carafe and a hot plate underneath. But we generally transfer the coffee to a stainless steel carafe anyway.

This video talks a little more about the Technivorm Moccamaster
