If you've been following along, you know we're shifting to once-a-month roasting this fall , but if you thought that meant we were winding down, well, you're mistaken.

We just took delivery of our largest order yet: 12 bags of green coffee, twice our previous record! These bags aren't for the faint of heart, weighing in at 130–150 lbs each. Normally we (and by we, I mean The Bearded Wonder, mostly) just muscle them down to the basement, but 12 of them called for a little… strategery.

So we made a trip to the hardware store, rigged up a plywood slide and a handcart, and with Big E himself doing most of the heavy lifting, we made short work of it. Thirty minutes from off the truck to back at our day jobs.
