These beans from Guatemala are a slightly lighter roast than our Lumberjack. A lot of times you will hear this kind of coffee described as having a caramel nut flavor with fruity overtones and while it’s probably true those descriptions never made much sense to us. This coffee is more acidic than our Lumberjack which is often described as fruity. One of our customers said, “I can drink this stuff all day long”. You can! Or perk yourself a cup to perk yourself up. Either way, this coffee will keep you going until that five o’clock shadow comes in. Five O’clock Shadow is the right coffee at 5 AM and 5 PM.
Other helpful information:
This roast has a bit more caffeine than the Lumberjack.
The way you take your coffee is a very personal preference, but from someone who really enjoys cream in her coffee, this roast is better black. But you don’t have to take our word for it. Try for your self!
