Cold Brew Coffee is gaining in popularity. It has many claims, but in truth there isn’t much research to back it up.
Here is an article discussing a research study about what does and does not happen to coffee during the cold vs hot brew process. This is for the nerds out there. You know who you are. And know that you are loved.
If you are like me and you just like stuff that tastes good, then here are my thoughts. Up until recently, Lumberjack was my favorite coffee to make cold brew. But now I love our Organic Espresso. It has just a touch more of a bolder and smoother flavor. There are a lot of fancy ways to make cold brew coffee, I started with this, it is pretty simple. But then the plastic brew pot broke, then the glass carafe broke so now, I use a small bucket with a lid and a large fancy mason Jar. It is a very sophisticated system.
I did learn from this article, that they suggest double filtering your Coffee after the brew is over, and I will be adding that to my routine. Happy Drinking.
