Auto Ship FAQ
Have you signed up for Autoship, yet? It's pretty fantastic. Coffee just auto-MAGICALLY shows up at your door. You hardly have to think about it. Does that seem overwhelming? Here are some FAQ’s
- We roast coffee every Sunday. You set up a regularly recurring order to deliver your favorite coffee to your doorstep. If you are local it will arrive Monday. If we ship it to you it takes a little longer.

How much coffee should I order and how often should I get it delivered?
- We recommend getting coffee every week or every other week. This ensures you are drinking your coffee when it is fresh. Fresh coffee tastes better, that's why we do what we do. But how much do you need? Well, how much coffee do you drink? At our house, we drink 1-2 pots of coffee per day. Every day. 7 days a week. The Beard drinks one whole pot alone. This means we use about 2 and a half bags a week. We use a scale to measure our coffee, because it makes better coffee and because counting to 12 is hard for me before I've had any coffee. If you make a full pot of a day every day you will likely need one and a half bags a week. This of course depends on how strong you like your coffee. But it is at least a starting point. If this is you, we recommend setting an auto-ship up for 3 bags every other week.
But what if you are going out of town or you have a stockpile?
- There are two options. You can pause your auto-ship or push out your next ship date (ship date means when your order is processed).
- Push out your ship date: This is best if you are going on vacation or you have a bit of a backlog and need to use up your supply. Just push out your next ship date (You can push out your next ship date ship date as far as you want.) Just remember we roast on Sunday so your auto-ship needs to “ship” or process by Saturday if you want coffee on Monday.
- Pause your Autoship: This is great if you are traveling out of the country for several months, or you just need to take a break for a while. It saves all of your information and when you return you can start right where you left off.

What if I want to order a different coffee?
- If you need a little extra coffee one week because you want to share, or try something different or you just plan on drinking more, or you want to take some on your vacation. If you’re local we recommend creating a separate order that week. For the sake of simplicity leave your autoship order the same. Placing a separate order means you don’t have to remember to go back in and change it back and since there is no delivery fee, you aren’t out anything extra by placing separate orders.
- If you are a shipping customer, reach out to us and we will work with you to minimize your shipping costs.
- Occasionally this happens. Do not hesitate to contact us. But in the meantime check to make sure your credit card is still valid and make sure you have a valid shipping method, sometimes this resets to none and that will cause it to fail. If one of these two things were the problem reset your ship date to tomorrow and you should be all set.

The site just keeps spinning..
- We’re sorry about that. Sometimes the Autoship feature can be slow to load. We are always looking for better options but in the meantime, thank you for your patience. Good coffee is worth the wait.
